KOMO and its organisational structure

KOMO distinguishes itself by supporting an equal level of input from all relevant parties: the KOMO certificate holders, the customers of KOMO certificate holders, the certification bodies, architects, designers, prescribers and insurers. They bring together the knowledge needed to achieve the quality ambitions. The knowledge that the KOMO quality mark provides added value is the reason why it has been a very widely accepted fact for over 55 years in the building and infrastructure sector.

The board of the KOMO foundation consists of board members who, with the exception of the independent chairman, represent various sectors of the building and infrastructure chain. Daily affairs are conducted by the KOMO Bureau (secretariat), headed by a director.
